CMI Certification
How can maximum quality be achieved?
By constantly striving to improve our wines in order to meet and exceed our customers' expectations. No efforts are spared to achieve this, as shown by the fact that we have been awarded the demanding BRC (British Retail Consortium) and IFS (International Food Standard) certificates.
QUALITY
Diccionario
1. f. Property or set of properties inherent in something, thereby allowing its value to be appraised.

The quality of wine is a complex matter, given the fact that, in theory, wine appraisal solely involves our senses of taste, smell, sight and touch. However, in practice, other aspects are also involved, and which are just as important as the ones already mentioned.

As blind tastings generally show, the strength of the brand and the image conveyed by the presentation also influence our perception of the quality of a product. The question becomes still more difficult if we bear in mind the fact that perception thresholds differ from one person to another.

How can maximum quality be achieved? Well, this is done by constantly striving to improve our wines and, when saying this, we are thinking of wines that meet and exceed our customers' expectations. At El Coto, we want every single bottle to be consumed and enjoyed, and that is the measure of our success and responsibility.

No efforts are spared to achieve this commitment to quality, with full control over each and every procedure inherent in our wine production, ageing and marketing processes.

Our constant concern to produce fine quality wines, a concern which must necessarily be present in 21st century winemaking, has led us to be awarded the highest possible rating in the BRC (British Retail Consortium) and IFS (International Food Standard) certificates.
